This project brings together a group of people from the fashion industry to an isolated cabin in the forest with only essential living supplies. The project employed surveillance cameras to document the 24 hours of models, the makeup artist, and the stylist living there. This film is supposed to let people feel the beauty and simplicity of being together and finding joy in cooking, eating, and dressing.
It’s unlike any other fashion shoot, with only one camera for the models to look at. Four security cameras cover an angle of almost 360 degrees. The models don’t know the camera angle: they just need to figure out what they want to do, have fun, and interact with their friends. I was thinking about an unstaged fashion shoot without planning or setting the camera position.
I wanted to connect, combining everything, to show the imperfect beauty of daily life.
